COLUMBIA CITY, IN, FEBRUARY 24, 2009: Imaging Office Systems, Inc. (IOS) has upgraded their book scanners to the latest in design and technology to offer unsurpassed image quality and clarity. After an extensive review of client needs and available technology, IOS selected BookDrive DIY scanners from Atiz.
Traditionally, either flatbed or overhead scanners are used to scan book. Both of these models produce distorted images with margin crawl and curved text lines. All of these issues are eliminated with the BookDrive scanner because of the unique cradle design and use of digital photography to produce clear images.

IOS chose the BookDrive DIY because it can scan all kinds of books with many different sizes, thicknesses and binding types. The cradle design ensures minimum handling that produces consistently clear images without stressing the bindings.
